EPT Monte Carlo - Final Table

EPT Monte Carlo - Final Table - By Poker Boss
The Monte Carlo EPT final. Huge money, top players, a groundbreaking tournament and a tough lineup. Ten players returned to fight for the trophy, and it was truly a battle. Nearly twelve hours of play later, and we had a victor ; Canadian Glen Chorny. The 22 year old, who only recently turned pro but almost immediately started playing (and doing well in) some of the biggest events around, started the final table with the chip lead, at a time when stacks were already counted in the millions.
The structure meant that they played poker all the way, the short handed battle between Chorny, Denes Kalo and Isaac 'WestmenloAA' Baron being especially intense. At one point the chips on the final table were nearly even short handed, but there wasn't a whisper of a deal until they got to three way. Many of the players going deep in this were trained (and are highly successful) online, and they were given the play to show once again how proficient the young players on both sides of the Atlantic have become.
The official standings, after the excitement, pyrotechnics and ceremonies were over:
